Lake effect, baby.
We don't usually get it too bad this far south, but north and east of us is supposed to get 6 to 8 inches of the white stuff by this evening. So winter is definitely coming. again.

It's a gorgeous (and rare) day in Ohio today--sunny, warm and breezy. So I shot this footage of the tree in my backyard, for those of you who can't go outside to see such a thing yourself.

Gettin' Out.
One of the best things about this area of Ohio is its extensive network of free metro parks, as well as the free Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Goodyear Height's Metro Park is less than a mile from our house, so we spent the morning on the trail Sunday. Lovely. Daily photo: 8/31/08
