I Won!

Last year we got this sweater for N. on sale at J. Crew. It may not look like anything special, but it is really warm and comfortable, so though we bought it for him, a tug-of-war ensued. He would come home to find me wearing it and I would keep it on until he started to complain too loudly about being cold. But all's well that ends well (for me!). We just bought N. a new sweater this weekend and this sweater is now mine!

In Summary.

Yesterday was the last day in my year of Daily photos; they started on the eve of my birthday last year, and today (Sunday) is my birthday. I have never shown an image of my or N.'s face on this blog, so I thought that would be a good final image.

I haven't decided what I'll do this year. The Daily photo was fun, but also a lot of pressure. Maybe I'll come up with a theme for this year's photos. Any suggestions?

My grandpa gave N an LED light that clips to the underside of his hat bill. Came in pretty handy doing stuff around mom's house this weekend.

Bad news

We headed to Texas today to be with N's mom as she faces what the doctor's have said is her final stage of battling cancer. She will be very much missed.
