Bedtime #3

I made a hammer.

And I'm pretty darn happy about it. My students are learning chasing and repousse so they've been learning to make their own tools, too. I looove making tools--a little too much.

N. and I went to the Orchid Show at the Cleveland Botanical Garden on Friday. Above are some of the highlights from our visit.

Suspicion.

I'm trying to look suspiciously at N., because we just got life insurance on me. Should I be worried?...

Turns outs the vegan General Tso's Chicken from the Whole Foods hot bar is addictive, so we went back to Whole Foods again today. Gotta do whatcha gotta do.

Thursday Night.

We watch "Grey's Anatomy" though I'm not really enjoying this season. I much prefer "Lost" because it is a better form of escapism.

Saturday in St. Louis

Spent the day with my mom and aunt downtown.

We had tea at The London Tea Room, which is an adorable (and delicious) place, then walked around the outside of the wicked cool City Museum. It is filled with salvaged and re-purposed things like airplanes and a log cabin and cast-offs from factories like gears rubber gloves hanging from the ceiling. You can climb on everything and there are numerous slides for kids and adults--need I say more?

N. and I had a tasty desert at Cyrano's Saturday night with my mom and my good friends Lacy and Anthony.
